Samples must be collected 9 - 15 hours after injection with Interferon beta

Interferon Beta Testing

Collected in a Red/Clear top PAXgene tube

These tubes should have been given to the patient to bring for blood collection

NB: MS Clinical Nurse specialist at ACH Fiona D'Young on Level 8 does have extra kits 25 885

Tubes must be handled carefully as they break easily

If they have not arrived in bubble wrap place inside a small bubbble wrap bag after numbering and place in a biohazard bag

with a copy of the request form.

Place sample in Canterbury Health Room temperature sendaway container in the

sendaways area.
