CMV Quantiferon Gold (3 x assay specific tubes)

NOTE: The test is non-orderable.

Currently it is provided for the exclusive use of selected heart and lung transplant patients from GCC. Co-ordination of patients requiring testing is managed between the transplant co-coordinators and VIM Serology senior team members.

Specimen Collection

Assay specific tubes are provided as single use packs (3 tubes per pack). Patient packs are ordered and delivered to GCC phlebotomy by VIM / Serology.

Blood collection requirements are the same as for Tb Quantiferon Gold.

Each pack contains:

1 x Grey cap tube

1 x Purple cap tube

1 x Blue cap tube
