Time/date of last dose, time/date of sample collection and when HIV drug therapy commenced must be considered when interpreting drug results. This information is required on the request form.

4 mL EDTA Plasma (Always Required)

A morning trough sample is required.


Diagnostic Use and Interpretation

Used for the infrequent determination of plasma levels where incipient toxicity dictates reduction in dosage if possible.
