Information for Referring Labs:

To enable our Haematologists to provide the most complete interpretation, please provide/include:

• Patient's date of birth or age
• Relevant clinical details, reason for referral
• Results of recent FBC, iron studies or other significant information.
• Please send both stained and unstained films, ideally 2 stained films and 3 unstained films, labelled with patient's name / reference number.
• Phone or Fax number if results are required urgently
• Paper reports are sent to requesting Dr / Hospital.
