Principle: Qualitative dipstick


Diagnostic Use and Interpretation

Bilirubin may be present in the urine in conditions causing an elevation of conjugated (direct) bilirubin, i.e. intrahepatic and extrahepatic biliary obstruction, advanced hepatocellular disease, and some drugs.
