For requestors:

Pneumococcal antibody serotyping can be requested either as a first round test or as a test-add after the IgG pneumococcal testing has been performed.
In both cases, the specific serotype request form must be used (refer specimen collection section)

For test-add's please make initial requests via LabLINK who can then co-ordinate with the analytical area (Serology unit / Microbiology).

There is no requirement by the Murdoch Institute to send paired pre-and post-vaccine specimens together.

Received serotyping requests will be immediately processed.
