Specimen Collection

The maximum in an EDTA is 2ml bone marrow - multiple EDTA tubes are acceptable.

Transport at 4 degrees without delay. Do not spin or freeze.

Note: if unable to obtain a BM aspirate, a trephine biopsy may be sent in sterile saline.
