Send complete bag of dialysate.
Please specify if mycobacterial or fungal culture is required.
Turnaround Time:
Results of direct examination, cell count and gram stain are available within 2 hours of specimen receipt.
Culture reports on positives are issued immediately.
Interim negative reports are issued after 48 hours and a final report is issued at 5 days.
Mycology: an interim report is issued on any positive culture. Negative reports are issued after 10 days.
