This panel  covers for HSV, VZV, adenovirus and includes enterovirus where requested specifically.

Appropriate sample is a conjunctival swab or preferably corneal scrapings if ulceration is present.

(Vitreous or anterior chamber tap)

This panel includes HSV, VZV, CMV, and toxoplasma. Appropriate sample is a vitreous tap or aqueous fluid tap - not a conjunctival swab .
